Cash pool & main-event terms
The cash pool includes ₹25,000 in Hackyard Open Innovation prizes for the main track, up to ₹3,00,000 for 300 qualified Agent37 projects, ₹47,500 in main-event podium and category awards, and ₹1,00,000 in Nodus Challenge prizes. ByteAsk rewards are separate.
Agent37 also provides ₹1,00,000 in prize credits across podium and category winners. These are separate from the $10 per-qualified-project credits. For Agent37 podium and category awards, no team wins both.
A joint judging panel including Agent37 selects main-event winners. Hackyard distributes cash after the event and shares credit redemption instructions. Prize credits are valued in INR, not cash.
Open Innovation: the main track
Every selected team at the hackathon competes here, building the idea submitted in the online round. Any tech, stack or tools; software, hardware or both. No sponsor product is required.
The top three teams win ₹15,000, ₹7,000 and ₹3,000. Every team is judged on one sheet of 20 marks: working prototype, problem and usefulness, technical execution, and originality, 5 marks each.
Sponsor challenges are optional and run alongside this track, each with its own rules and rewards. Joining one never changes your idea or your place in Open Innovation. Category rewards already announced stay as they are, on top of this track.
Nodus eligibility & payout
Nodus Challenge awards ₹1,00,000 cash to the top three teams with the best projects built on Nodus compute at IIT Guwahati, 24–25 October 2026. $30 Nodus product credits per team at the event. Credits are not cash.
All three winning teams are announced on stage. Hackyard pays the cash prizes within 30 days after the event, subject to applicable tax deductions under Indian law.
Nodus Challenge judging criteria will be shared before the event. A Nodus representative joins the final judging panel. These prizes are separate from Agent37 awards and ByteAsk rewards.
Nodus sets the terms for its product credits and platform. This event-team credit offer is separate from any Hackyard community discount.

Qualification details
Hackyard selects projects through the online round. Hackyard and Agent37 verify submitted artifacts and the project roster. Up to 300 projects may qualify; this is not a guaranteed count.
