Most of the time, those people never meet. Hackyard is work-first: less pitching, more making.
You do not need a finished product or a polished pitch deck. Bring an idea, a problem, a skill, or simply the willingness to build.

A focused 24-hour hackathon to turn your idea into something real.
Build solo or, if you choose a team, with 2–4 people (maximum 4).
Physical build is for selected builders. Build space and internet are provided. The participant package covers 2 nights' stay at IIT Guwahati and all meals across the two days. This is a 24-hour nonstop event on a closed campus, so all in-person builders attend with this package.
Everyone selected for the physical build becomes a Hackyard Selected Builder.
Selected builders can be featured on Hackyard’s official builder directory alongside other people who build.
Receive a Selected Builder badge and a shareable Build 2026 digital credential.
Promising builders and projects may connect with companies, founders, investors, internships, and future Hackyard programs.
Selected builders stay part of the Hackyard network after the event, with continued recognition and access to selected future experiences and opportunities. The hackathon ends. The builders stay.
