A place
for builders.

Hackyard Build 2026 brings ambitious builders together to turn ideas, skills and problems into something real.

Drop your idea

Useful software.
Made together.

You can build alone anywhere. Finding the right people is harder. Someone else might know how to build your idea, design it, or understand the problem better than anyone else.

Most of the time, those people never meet. Hackyard brings them together: less pitching, more making.

You do not need a finished product or a polished pitch deck. Bring an idea, a problem, a skill, or simply the willingness to build.

Find a starting point

Start online.
Take it further.

Applications run online from 14 September to 10 October. Selected builders come together at IIT Guwahati on 24–25 October 2026.

Build details for the physical build

Physical build is for selected builders. Build space and internet are provided. Food and accommodation are available at a nominal fee, with details shared before you travel.

Selected by Hackyard.
Built to be seen.

Everyone selected for the physical build becomes a Hackyard Selected Builder.

  1. Your profile

Selected builders can be featured on Hackyard’s official builder directory alongside other people who build.

  2. Your recognition

Receive a Selected Builder badge and a shareable Build 2026 digital credential.

  3. Your next opportunity

Promising builders and projects may connect with companies, founders, investors, internships, and future Hackyard programs.

Selected builders stay part of the Hackyard network after the event, with continued recognition and access to selected future experiences and opportunities. The hackathon ends. The builders stay.

The people
behind Hackyard.

We are builders too. We are figuring this out, building it, breaking it and making it better as we go.
